Track and Field dominates Brebeuf, Cathedral

A chilly meet for the Bulldogs couldn't stop them from domininating at home. Brownsburg hosted both Cathedral and Brebeuf. 

On the boys side, Brownsburg finished first with 101.5 points, Cathderal second with 36.5 and Brebeuf in third had 21 points. For the girls, Brownsburg had 92 points to finish in first, Cathedral had 37 points finishing in second place and Brebeuf took third place with 30 points. The Bulldogs compiled several first place finishes throuhghout the night. 

Darrelle Rice broke the Brownsburg school record in the 100M dash with a time of 12.47 finishing in first place. She would also finish in first place in the 200M dash. 

Both boys and girls relay teams in the 4x100 took first place. 

Eva Altschul and Haiden Diemer-McKinney finsihed first in the girls and boys 800M dash. Paige Kirtz and Scotty Tienda also finished in first in the girls and boys 400M dash. On the hurdles, Ben Coomer took first place in the 300M race. John Colquitt also took first place in the 110M hurdles. 

The Dogs look to continue this strong performance in their next meet. Both boys and girls will host Speedway and Lebanon at home on April 12 at 5 PM.
