Amalaraj heads RV Boys' Golf at loaded Kent Frandsen Invitational

RV Brownsburg traveled to Lebanon for the Kent Frandsen Inviational May 1 and was led by junior Kevin Amalaraj's score of 80. Brownsburg finished ninth out of seventeen teams competing. 

The Bulldogs were in a loaded field at Lebanon Saturday as five of the top-ten teams in the IHSGCA rankings competed. The tournament included No.1 Guerin Catholic, No.3 Westfield, No.4 Carmel, No.5 Hamilton Southeastern, No.7 Zionsville as well as Brownsburg, who recieved votes in the Week 5 rankings.

Course: Ulen Golf Course 

Brownsburg team standing: Ninth / 17 teams  

Top Brownsburg individual: Kevin Amalaraj T17 - 80  

NOTES: 

  • Amalaraj split his score down the middle with an even 40 on the front nine and the back nine
  • Junior Weston Ogden shot a 38 on the back nine and finished with an 82 for the day 
  • Rounding out the Bulldogs' scorers were seniors Luke Johnson (92) and Quentin Bragg (94)
