Orioles End Bulldogs Season

The Girls' Varsity Tennis team lost to Avon 3-2 in the final round of sectionals.  Kara Mehringer, Hailey Blood, and number two teammates Kristina Petrovic/Lily House gave all they had but were unable to thwart the opposition.  Wins were posted by Ellie Hughes and number one doubles Caitlin Preda/Payton Haygood.  Freshman Hughes finished UNDEFEATED at 22-0, a remarkable feat!  Preda and Haygood (21-1) advance to the individual doubles tournament and are awaiting the bracket results to see who they play on Tuesday.  Make room on your calendar to come and support the DOUBLES 'DOGS. 

The Varsity Bulldogs enjoyed a fantastic 14-2 season, winning the Park Tudor Invite, HCC, and County.  Special thanks to Senior Kristina Petrovic and the legacy she has left for the tennis family.
