Park Tudor Invite Champs!

The Girls' Varsity Tennis team won the Park Tudor Invitational on Saturday, beating out #8 South Bend St. Joseph, #11 Guerin Catholic, and #16 Park Tudor.  The Bulldogs put in an amazing day to reach the championship round in all five positons! 

Kara Mehringer, playing at number one singles, defeated Lawrence North and Park Tudor in the first two rounds before falling to South Bend St. Joe in the final round.  Number 2 singles Hailey Blood won over Park Tudor and Lawrence North and then lost to South Bend St. Joe in the championship.  Ellie Hughes was the champion at the #3 singles spot, with wins over Yorktown, St. Joseph, and Guerin.  

The Number One Doubles 'Dogs of Caitlin Preda and Payton Haygood pulled off huge wins over South Bend St. Joe and Guerin, but lost in a third-set tie-break to Park Tudor.  The Number Two Doubles Duo of Kristina Petrovic and Lily House won the championship, with victories over Guerin, St. Joseph, and Fishers.  Special thanks to our fans for hanging out all day and sharing in the title.  Next match up:  Varsity and JV play Zionsville on Monday at 5:00 p.m. at HOME.  This is our "Champions Together" match with a fund-raiser designated for Special Olympics.  Please come out for this Special Night.
