Tennis Advances in Sectional Play

The Girls' Varsity Tennis team won 3-2 over Mooresville in the opening round of sectional play.  Number 3 Ellie Hughes was first off, dropping no games.  Both doubles teams of Caitlin Preda/Payton Haygood and Kristina Petrovic/Lily House followed very quickly out the gate with convincing straight set victories.  The Bulldogs advance into the second round against Plainfield tomorrow at Plainfield.  Start time is 5 p.m.
