Girls' Soccer Wins Season Opener

The girls' varsity soccer team won their season opener at home, 3-0, over the Lady Giants of Ben Davis. Masey Bunn and Kamarin Witham led the Bulldog scoring charge on all three goals. Witham found the net first on an assist from Bunn. Not too long after, another connection found Bunn scoring two goals, both assisted by Witham. Earning a hard fought shut-out in goal was Kassy Christy. Christy led the defensive efforts of Amanda Dotlich, Sophie McFarland, Taylor Risser, and Alyssa Steinman in the back. The Bulldogs allowed very few shots and worked to create many attacking opportunities. The girls travel to McCutcheon to start the first HCC match-up on Wednesday evening.
