Brownsburg Wins Round 1 of Sectional Play

The Varsity football team registered win number 9 on the year with a first round sectional victory over Terre Haute South on Friday by a score of 28 to 0!  The Dogs controlled the ball and played outstanding defense which contributed to the shut out of the Braves.  The offense churned out 426 yards on the night with 355 of that coming on the ground.  Isaac Beverstock carried the ball 22 times for 114 yards helping him set a new school record for a single season rushing.  Chased Dutra and also broke 100 yards with a combined 90 yards rushing and 21 yards passing, scoring 2 touchdowns for the Dogs.  Jacob Lambert scored the first touchdown of the evening on a one yard plunge while also throwing a TD pass to Bobby Carr.  The team will travel to Ben Davis Friday night for a top ten match up with the Giants!
