Bulldogs Top the Millers
The varsity football teamhosted the Noblesville Millers on Friday night and came away with a 31-6 victory. The win raised the team record to two wins and zero losses on the young season. Isaac Beverstock rumbled for 97 yards and a touchdown while Ian Good and Chase Dutra also scored rushing touchdowns. Dutra's touchdown came on a 56 yard run. The team has rushed for over 700 yards in two weeks of play behind the O line of Ellis Evans, Ben Slawta, Neal Hurford, Phillip Gegner and Ben Dall! Brandon Dowers also kicked a field goal on Friday on the last play of the first half, giving the Dogs a 17-0 half time lead. Defensively the Dogs did not yield a yard in the first half and only 17 yards through the first three quarters of play! Connor Ludwig took tackling honors while Bobby Carr registered two sacks.
