Football Cruises to a Homecoming Victory

The varsity football team helped make the 2011 Homecoming weekend a success with a 61-6 victory over the visiting Harrison Raiders. The Dogs came out focused putting 21 points on the board in the first quarter and 20 in the second quarter. Isaac Beverstock scored three touchdowns while rushing the ball 22 times for 166 yards. Ian Good and Chase Dutra each scored twice with Dutra topping 104 yards on just seven carries, he also had 59 yards on four receptions. Good was 8-13 passing for the game with 102 yards. Jordan Reagan highlighted his return to the field with a 19 yard TD on his first carry and ended the game with 63 yards on four carries. Luke Williams capped the scoring with a one yard run in the fourth quarter. Brandon Dowers took care of the extra point work kicking seven. The Dogs defense allowed just 210 yards on the evening. "Team Knockdown" continued to play well! The team will travel to Zionsville on Friday night in search of the HCC championship! Thanks to the great student section for their support, we hope to see you this Friday at Zionsville on the field!
