Bulldogs Compete at XC Semi-State

This past Saturday the boys cross country team placed 15th in the extremely competitive Shelbyville Semi-State.  They were led once again by Christian Hammerly who covered the 5K distance is 16:43, a new personal best.  He was followed closely by Michael Breckler, Stuart Goedde, and Tyler Nolan with the trio just narrowly missing a sub-17 finish.  Scoring was rounded out by Noah Gossett.  In all, 3 of the top seven ended their seasons with a PR.

The Girls' Cross Country team wrapped up their season Saturday at the Shelbyville Semi-State. Needing a top 6 finish to advance the girls came up just short by finishing in 9th place. Five freshmen lead the charge by taking all 5 of the team's scoring positions. Lauren Rinehart lead the way for the team as she finished in 19:24. Brooke Dixon was second for the team in 19:31 followed by Carly Altier with her season best time of 19:37, Emma Cougill in 19:52, and Cora Minkis in 20:04. A special thank you to Senior Grace Esterline as she wrapped up her High School XC career in a time of 20:21. This race ends a great season for the Bulldogs with plenty to look forward to in the future. Congratulations on all of your accomplishments!!
