Bulldogs Open Indoor Track Season

The boys' track squad opened up the 2012 campaign yesterday at Wabash College with the Little Giant-Charger Invitational. Many good performances were turned in by the Bulldogs, but Jeremy Shupperd had the highlight of the meet by clearing 6'0" in the high jump. This performance qualified Jeremy for the prestigious Hoosier State Relay Finals in 2 weeks. Another very impressive performance was turned in by David LaPerle in the pole vault. David tied for first place with a leap of 12'0", showing a vast improvement over last year due to his hard work over the winter. Ben Hendricks also turned in very good times in the 800 m run with back-to-back showings of 2:06 and 2:07
