Dogs Down Brebeuf

Saturday afternoon, just sixteen hours after playing Zionsville, the Boys' Varsity Soccer Team took the field against Brebeuf Jesuit.  Tired legs were the early story of the match as the two teams traded blows back and forth for nearly all of the match.  That is, until junior Cameron Mattern netted the lone goal off the match to secure the Bulldog victory.  Outstanding defensive effort was displayed by goalkeeper Karl Keeslar, who recorded his first shut-out of the season.  In the second half, senior Max Jackson stopped a huge goal from crossing the line with a sliding effort that could be noted as the defensive play of the match.  Good job, guys!
