Bulldogs Celebrate Senior Night By Winning HCC Championship

Behind 392 yards of offense and a great effort by the team defense the Varsity Football Team defeated the visiting Fishers Tigers on Friday night by a score of 31 to 24.  With the victory the team captured their first ever Hoosier Crossroads Conference Championship and their eigth victory of the year.  Chase Dutra anchored the offense with another great effort rushing the ball 5 times for 114 yards including a 72 yard TD sprint.  Isaac Beverstock also topped the century mark rushing with 119 yards on 22 carries.  Defensively Connor Ludwig had a great night with 14 tackles, while the BIG three of Devon Grundy, Quintin Stubbs-Lee and Perry Gaines harrassed the Tigers with great pursuit.  The team and coaches would like to thank the "Black Hole" student section for their support, Roark stadium was rocking and the celebration on the field was outstanding.  The Dogs will enter sectional play next Friday at home vs. the Terre Haute south Braves at 7pm.
