Bulldogs Stay Atop HCC After Zionsville Victory

The varsity football teamtraveled to Zionsville on Friday night and came home with a 20-15 victory. The team came out hot scoring on the first two possessions of the game and playing great defense through- out the night. Chase Dutra had a great night for the team with eight carries for 62 yards rushing and a TD while also hauling in a 45 yard TD pass from Ian Good. Dutra also recovered the last ditch onside kick from the Eagles to help seal the game. Tyler Welch scored the third touchdown of the game on a 14 yard TD run. Garret Isch lead the defense with multiple big plays and a blocked punt. Cooper Wojcik added to his interception totals with a much needed pick just before the half. The team will battle Fishers this Friday night for the HCC championship! Please come out and help honor our senior football players and cheer on the team!
