Tennis Suffers First Defeat of Season

The varsity girls' tennis team lost a tough Fishers team with a 4-1 score.  In singles play, Katie Bullock, Nicole Weisman, and Emily Doehrman had some very good matchplay but could not overcome the opposition.  Weisman played a very sound match, losing in a tight (5-7, 6-7) competition.  The number one doubles tandem of Laura Smith and Shelby Hornback played a strong pair of opponents and nearly turned it around in the second set to push it to a third.  The number two team of Yolandi Geldenhuis and Katie Suiter put together a great game plan to score our point.
