Tennis Opens Season with a Strong Win over McCutcheon

The varsity girls' tennis team started off the season with a strong 5-0 win at McCutcheon in spite of very strong winds!  The Dogs did a great job of keeping their feet moving and maintaining focus.  Katie Bullock, Nicole Weisman, and Emily Doehrman played aggressive and smart and completely dominated the courts in their singles matches.  Yolandi Geldenhuis and Shelby Hornback did a nice job staying with their game plan and brought in a fine win at number one doubles.  At the number two doubles spot, Katie Suiter and Nikki Meade played very steady to take the final point for varsity.
