Golf Places 2nd at Sectional

On Saturday, the Brownsburg Lady Golfers played an excellent round of golf on their home course to come in second place at Sectionals and advance to Regionals!  Just behind Avon's 369 were the Dogs with 376 as they beat out Mooresville's 379, Plainfield's 381, and a 420, 433, 436, and 438 from the rest of the field.  Maddie Cody led the charge, as she has all season, with a 42 on the front nine and a 43 on the back, earning the place of Sectional Medalist--the best score in the field of 42 girls.  Emma Wilkins and Sophia Topi were on fire, as well, with a 92 and 95, respectively.  Andrea Wesson and Reilly Olmstead rounded out the scores for the Bulldogs with 104 apiece.  The girls will continue in Regional play next Saturday at Smock Golf Course.  Way to go, ladies!
