Golf Grabs Two Conference Wins

On Thursday, the girls' golf team got two conference wins against Westfield and Zionsville at West Chase Golf Course.  Despite some shaky holes, the girls pulled through in the end and improved their record to 33-15-1.  Maddie Cody had an excellent round of golf and finished with a 39 on the par-36 front nine--an impressive feat which also earned her the medalist's spot.  Sophia Topi and Andrea Wesson followed with a 49 and 54, respectively, while Emma Wilkins brought in the final score with a 56.  The girls will take the long weekend to enjoy a break from competitions and ready themselves for the HCC Invitational on Tuesday at Bear Slide Golf Club in Cicero.
