Bulldogs Defeat County Champ Avon

Thursday night the Lady Dogs varsity golf team teed off in a big three-way meet against county champion Avon and runner-up Plainfield.  In a tight match against tough competition, the Dogs pulled out a great win, scoring a 186 to best Avon's 188 and Plainfield's 189.  Maddie Cody led the way again with a stellar 40 and was an overall medalist for the match.  She was followed by Andrea Wesson's season-best 47 and Emma Wilkins' 49.  Sophia Topi rounded out the top four with a 50.  Reilly Olmstead had a great night with a career-low 51, and she was followed by Maddy Koester's 55, Lasserina Dowell's 56, and Bailey Lotz's 59.  Congratulations to the girls on a great win as they now look to the weekend and the Ben Davis Invitational at South Grove Golf Course.
