Golfers Place 3rd at Hendricks Regional Health County Tournament.

The girls' golf team placed 3rd in the Hendricks Regional Health County Tournament on Saturday as a youthful group of Browsnburg ladies took on our county rivals.  Leading our round, sophomore Maddie Cody finished fourth in the tournament with a solid score of 86 (front 44 and back 42).  Emma Wilkins, another sophomore, finished her best round of her high school career with a 98 (49 front and back).  Sophia Topi, our third sophomore, came in 3rd for our girls having her best career round, as well, with a 102 (51 front and back).  Andrea Wesson, one more sophomore to round out the group, finished her back nine solidly with a 48 after having a tough start of 60 on the front nine, showing growth and maturity.  Finishing up for the Bulldogs at 5th, junior Lasserina Dowell shot a 111 (59 front and back 52).  Avon took home the title with a score of 341 and three top ten county players.  Plainfield came in 2nd with a score of 371.  Cascade, Tri-West and Danville (incomplete team score) came in 4th, 5th and 6th respectively.  The girls' next competition is on Monday, August 12th, at Center Grove for varsity, and home against Zionsville for JV
