Boys' XC Advance to State Finals

The boys' cross-country team ran a masterful race Saturday at the Ben Davis Regional Championships, placing 4th and advancing to their 7th straight Semi-state next Saturday in Carmel. Hari Sathyamurthy once again paced the Bulldog attack by collecting his second straight individual regional title with a personal best time of 15 minutes and 26 seconds!  Hari ran out front by himself for more than the last 2 miles, bettering the second-place finisher by a whopping 21 seconds and running the second fastest time in Brownsburg school history!

Marcus Fierek got a top 10 finish, and Elijah Wagner crushed his season best time by 36 seconds, which earned him a top 20 finish.  Joining Wagner as "Dog of the Meet" winners was Christian Hammersly, who clipped almost 40 seconds from his personal record!  Michael Breckler and Devon Boone also ran to personal record times, and freshman Tyler Nolan added great depth on the day, just barely missing his season best mark.  All in all, five of the seven harriers covered the 5K distance faster than they ever had before!
