Bulldogs Sweep Warriors 5-0

The varsity boys' tennis team finished the regular season in fine style with a 5-0 win over Danville.  It began as a very special celebration for Senior Night with the singing of the National Anthem by the Madrigal Choir.  Senior Daniel Heinekamp played some dominating singles at the number one single spot, only dropping a game.  Senior Josh Ruse did not lose any games at the number two spot, and Senior Evan Krauss only gave up one game in his number three singles match.  Senior Michael Smith, paired up with partner Michael Hartnagel, did not allow the Warriors any games in their number one doubles match.  The number two doubles tandem of Nathan Mehringer and Jonathon Class also kept their opponents scoreless.   After posting an 11-5 regular season record, the varsity will now begin sectional action next week at Avon, with a match on Wednesday or Thursday, depending on the draw.
