Millers Defeat Bulldogs

The Bulldogs dropped the final game of the Noblesville series 9-3 last night.  Although the Bulldogs had runners on base each inning the Bulldogs were unable to generate enough offense to keep pace with the Millers.  The Bulldogs jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after an Anthony Travelsted home run in the bottom of the 1st, but a 4-run top of the second put the Millers up 4-1.  The Dogs scrapped another run across in the bottom of the 2ndbefore lightning again delayed a game between these two teams.  After the delay, the Millers kept up their offensive momentum with a big 4-run 4th inning behind a couple home runs and put the dogs down 8-2.  The Dogs and the Millers both added runs in the 6th to bring the final score to 9-3.  The Bulldogs move to 13-10 (8-7 HCC) and will play their final series against HSE.  Senior Night will be held on May 15th at Mary Beth Rose Park.
