Park Tudor Champs!

On Saturday, the Girls' Varsity Tennis Team won the 2018 Park Tudor Invitational for the second straight year.  The field featured four top 20 teams.  Kara Mehringer came back strong to win a solid second round after dropping her first round to the event's #1 singles' runner-up.  Hailey Blood claimed the runner-up spot at 2 singles with incredibly gutsy play throughout the day.  Number three singles Ellie Hughes earned the championship at her position with laser focus all day long.  Caitlin Preda and Payton Haygood, at number one doubles, were virtually unstoppable on their way to winning the crown.  Number two doubles champions Lily House and Grace Suiter did not drop a game in the first two rounds and then finished with a nice clean straight-setter over a top state doubles squad.  The varsity and JV will be back in action at Noblesville on Tuesday with a 5:15 start slated.
