Bulldogs Defeat Pike

Last night the Bulldog swimming and diving teams hosted the Pike Red Devils for the 2nd Annual Bulldog Beach Club and our Faculty Appreciation Night.

 

It was a warm and tropical evening even with the snow piled up outside.  Close to 75 students showed up for the swimming and diving competition (and some free hot dogs!) and over 20 BCSC teachers were honored as having positively impacted our athletes.

 

A big thanks to the student section and the faculty members that came out.

 

In the meet, the Lady Bulldogs defeated Pike 135-48 and the Men's team was victorious 138-48.

 

Leading the girl's with wins on the night were:

Logan Replogle in the 200 Free and the 100 Fly.

Bailey LaPaugh in the 50 Free.

Danielle LeClerc in Diving.

Joley Clodfelter in the 100 Free.

AJ Moll in the 500 Free.

Jenny Dreessen in the 100 Back and Madison Mehringer in the 100 Breast.

 

The girls also won all 3 relays on the night with Jenny Dreessen, Madison Mehringer, Bailey LaPaugh and Abby Callis in the200 Medley, Abby Callis, Joley Clodfelter, Logan Replogle and Bailey LaPaugh in the 200 Free, and Logan Replogle, Joley Clodfelter, AJ Moll and Bailey LaPaugh in the 400 Free Relay.

 

On the guy's side winners on the night were:

Braden Jackson in the 200 Free.

Noah Berryman in the 200 IM.

Frank Schoemer in the 50 Free and 100 Breast.

Kevin Gast in the 100 Fly and 100 Back.

Riley Koester in the 100 Free and

Andrew Fulwider in the 500 Free.

 

The boys were winners in all 3 relays as well.  The all senior relay of Kevin Gast, Frank Schoemer, Riley Koester and Andrew Fulwider won both the 200 Medley Relay and 400 Free Relay while Devon Anderson, Braden Jackson, Noah Berryman and Jack Kreilein teamed up to win the 200 Free Relay.

 

Both teams will face the County Championship this Saturday in our own Brownsburg Aquatic Center.
