Wrestling Teams Compete Over Christmas Break

The Brownsburg Wrestling Team had a very big and successful break.

To Begin: 

The JV Bulldogs placed third at the Avon Candy Cane Classic. Individual winners were Blake Barron, Brandon Webber, Denzel Nuckols, and Evan Mallory

 

The Varsity Bulldogs traveled to Mooresville for a 2 day tournament and placed 6^th out of 16 teams.  Placing for the Dogs were Tyler Harlan 1^st, Connor Ludwig 2^nd, Stone Neese 3^rd, CJ Damler 4^th

 

The Varsity Bulldogs traveled to Adams Central and went 4-1 on the day with several Bulldogs doing exceptionally well.  Stone Neese, Tyler Harlan, and CJ Damler all went undefeated on the day. While Tyler Harlan wrestled the number one ranked kid in the state and 15^th in the nation at a higher weight class and beat him 4-2.  The Dogs beat Southwood 44 -15, Fort Wayne Dwenger 44-15, Norwell 54 -18, Jay County 50 -18, and lost to Number 1 Class A Champion Adams Central 37-30. Good Day for the Bulldogs.

 

The Freshman wrestling team traveled to Carmel for an individual tournament. Troy Owen and Damon Jackson both placed 1^st, Jake Fults and Quienton Ingram both placed 3^rd. Victor Inglima and Chase Fennell Placed 4^th.
