Golfers Swing to 8th Place Finish

The Varsity golfers traveled to Smock Golf Course for the Franklin Central Invitational on Saturday and played a solid round of team golf.  Maddie Cody led the way with an 83.  Also turning in scores for the Dogs were Emma Wilkins with a round of a 90, Morgan Kier contributing a 94, Abby Cody a 96, and Macy Stapp finishing up with a 98.  The team's overall score of 363 was enough to earn them 8th place out of the field of fifteen and improve their score by 17 strokes from last year.  The girls finish up regular season play on Thursday this week at North Central.
