Mavunga Signs Letter of Intent to play for University of North Carolina

Brownsburg High School senior, Stephanie Mavunga, signs her National Letter of Intent to play basketball and attend the University of North Carolina (picture below). Mavunga is excited about taking her game to the Division 1 collegiate level and playing for the Tar Heels.

BHS Head Coach Amy Brauman had this to say about Mavunga. "Stephanie Mavunga has been instrumental to the Bulldogs' success over the past three years! Stephanie is a dominant force in the post and continues to improve her offensive skill set. Stephanie is also an awesome shot blocker which is exciting to watch, both as a coach and as a fan. Not only is Stephanie a great basketball player, she is also a great student always working hard in the classroom. I know Stephanie will do a great job next year at North Carolina! We will truly miss her, but we are very excited that she will be able to continue her basketball career!"
