Bulldogs Drop a Close One to #7 Avon In Sectional Final

The Boys' Tennis Team lost 3-2 in the sectional final to #7 Avon.  Petar Petrovic and Greg Fulling collected huge wins at number one and two singles to tie the match at 2 all.  Kyle Allen and Mason Lovett, at number two doubles, put forth a very gritty effort in a 7-5, 6-4 defeat that kept the gallery on the edge of their seats.  The Bulldog fan base transmitted much needed energy to all courts.  The cheering and chants kept our guys in the fight to the very last ball.  Your support was a huge boost for Petar who will now advance into the individual singles tournament.   Thank you to all of you for making this one of the most memorable tennis matches ever!  Petar will likely be back in play at the regional site here at home on Wednesday at 5 p.m.  His opponent has yet to be announced.  Stay tuned and we welcome the return of the Purple Energy.
