Bulldogs Tie Westfield

The Boys Varsity Soccer took to the road Tuesday for a HCC conference clash with Westfield High School.  The Bulldogs came ready to play, lead by Sophomore Jacob Risser and Senior Uriel Garcia with threatening attacking in the first half.  The duo created several chances.  Senior Max Chase contained the Westfield front man with thorough man marking.  The back line worked hard to thwart any and all attacks through tremendous group defending by Junior Eric Eggen, Senior Andrew Gleissner, and Sophomore Axel Perez. The Bulldogs pushed to finish off the Shamrocks in the closing minutes of the match with a well executed free kick, but the Westfield defense held its ground.  In the end, the match ended level breaking a streak of losses for the program.  Final score Brownsburg 0 Westfield 0.
