Bulldogs Lose to Pike
The Bulldogs varsity boys' basketball teamlost to the Pike Red Devils 54-64. Knocking down free throws kept the Dogs in the game despite poor shooting. With fundamental jump stops and a balanced attack, Chase Dutra had his most efficient game thus far scoring 19 points on 6 - 8 shooting including 6 - 8 from the free-throw line. Jimmy Mescall sparked the Dogs in the third with energy and defense grabbing a steal and then knocking down two crucial shots. In the fourth, the Bulldogs had an open look with 1:20 to cut Pike's lead to five points but couldn't get the ball to drop. Mycah Whetstone scored 10 for the Dogs. Jaraan Lands grabbed six boards for the Dogs.
