Football win a tough rainy battle against HSE 21-14

Dogs win 21-14 over HSE to out right win the HCC.

With it non stop raining all game it was hard for both teams to move the ball but the dogs got on the board first with a short rushing touchdown from Jake Dunn to take the lead 7-0. Neither team was able to score all the way to the third quarter where HSE got a short touchdown, but the dogs came out and Garrett Sherrell added a touchdown to the board that extended the lead 14-7. The dogs Defense had an amazing game with amazing pressure from them D-line. The dogs got the ball back and rushed down the field where Garrett Sherrell got another touchdown which extended the lead 21-7. HSE came back and rushed down the field and scored that put the score 21-14. With 1 minute left HSE rushed down the field and the dogs defense played lock down coverage stopping every pass attempt made which closed the game and secured the HCC Championship for the dogs. 

Their next game is Oct. 27 vs Ben Davis for the first round of Sectional play.
