Bulldogs Celebrate Homecoming with a Win Over Bronchos

The varsity football team took the field for the annual Homecoming game on Friday night in new black uniforms only to see that the sky was the same color. The game was postponed until Saturday and the team came back to Roark Stadium with an attitude, defeating the Jeff Bronchos 42 - 6. Quintin Stubb-Lee, Chase Dutra, Haden Shipman, Toks Akinribade, Ian Good and Tyerelle Lismon all found the end zone for the Dogs. Dutra led the ground attack with 64 yards on six carries while Good was very

efficient through the air connecting on 7 -9 pass attempts for 143 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively the team bottled up the leading rusher in the conference and did not allow a point on the board until the fourth quarter. Caleb Cooley intercepted his first pass leading an all-round great effort by the defense. The team will travel to Lafayette Harrison this Friday night looking for win number seven on the year.
