Cheer Competes at Purdue University

The Brownsburg Varsity Competition team competed at Purdue University on Sunday, September 29th to kick off their competition season. Brownsburg Varsity Cheer started out strong by competing in the Time-Out division against six other teams. The Time-Out division is a newer division that was added a few years ago and is designed to recognize teams who excel at skills in leading a crowd and school spirit. This was Brownsburg's first time participating in the Time-Out division and the Dogs took 2nd out of 7 teams! Brownsburg Varsity Cheer also competed in Varsity A music division, which is a 2:30min routine showcasing teams with strong skills in dance, tumbling, and stunting. Unfortunately, the Dogs had an injury during warm-up but persevered through this challenge by still competing and showing the judges what it means to be Bulldog tough.
The Varsity Competition Team is headed to Pendleton Heights High School to compete at the Central Indiana Cheer Championships on Saturday, October 5th.
