BULLDOGS LOSE A DOUBLE HEADER TO ZIONSVILLE

The Bulldogs faced off against Zionsville in a doubleheader on Thursday (4.20) and lost in both matchups. 

The Eagles came out hot in the first game scoring four runs in the second inning and putting the Bulldogs in a tough spot. The Bulldogs did not let up early and answered with a two-run RBI from PJ Fry in the top of the third. After another RBI from Caden Dougherty, the Eagles went on a run to score four more runs throughout the game this came to the final score of the first game 4-8 Eagles. 

In the second game, the Eagles carried over their momentum and scored four runs in the bottom of the first. They score another run in the bottom of the second, answered by a run from Zachary Guy who stole home. After a couple more RBIs from Zionsville Mason Tibbs tries to rally the Bulldogs back up with a huge Home run to put the score to 3-7 Eagles. The Bulldogs score two more runs in the 7th inning but still fell behind with a final score of 5-7.
