BASEBALL FALLS TO HSE AT HOME

The Bulldogs played their HCC rematch against Hamilton Southeastern on Friday (4.7) which resulted in a Bulldog loss. 

Both teams fought to the end of this game. In the very first inning, Colin McNeer hit a three-run home run to put the Dogs up three runs early in the game. The Royals were able to respond with a double RBI to fight back and make the score 3-2 in the second inning. In the fourth inning, the Bulldogs fell into a little bit of trouble after walking two people on loaded bases for two Royals runs. Then in the fifth inning, HSE hit three more double RBIs to put the Royals in the lead 3-11. 

In the 6th inning, Coulter Hamilton was able to steal home which HSE answered with another RBI in the following inning. In the bottom of the 6th, the Bulldogs attempted a long comeback with RBIs from PJ Fry, Nathan Walsh, Colin McNeer, and Coulter Hamilton to bring the score to 8-12 Heading into the 7th inning. The Bulldogs stopped the Royals in the top of the 7th but were unable to keep the comeback momentum in their last chance of the bottom of the 7th.
