Lady Golfers Narrowly Miss Advancing

The Brownsburg lady golfers represented with great pride and showed incredible perseverance through adversity while finishing in regional competition with a 334, justone stroke from advancing to State as a team!

Finishing in front of #4th ranked Carmel, the team pushed through and played stroke for stroke with #8 Zionsville and #11 Center Grove.  Senior Maddie Cody finished near the front of the pack with an outstanding 75 to advance to State as an individual, and finishing 2nd behind Cailyn Henderson of Westfield who shot a 70.

The Dogs had strong showing from sophomore Morgan Kier who shot an 85, and in her final high school round, senior Emma Wilkins played one of her best rounds at Smock Golf Course with an 86.  Sophomores Macy Stapp and Darcey Brinker both came in with an 88 and 94 respectively.

The coaching staff is so proud of the young ladies today as they improved 24 strokes from last year's Regional competition!
