Girls Golf Opens Season with Win

Both the Varsity and Junior Varsity scored big wins over rival Avon Wednesday night at West Chase golf course. The Varsity shot down the Orioles 162-194. Medalist Macy Stapp carded a 38. Maddie Cody and Emma Wilkins both shot 40. Abby Cody finished the scoring with a 44. Darcey Brinker, Morgan Kier and Ryleigh Leaf continued their fine play. The Junior Varsity won 179-210. Chloe Brumley led the charge shooting a 42. Sophmore Lillie Gillespie playing in her first match shot a 43. Closing out the scoring were Hannah Thomas 44 and Emily Breslin 50. Freshmen Emma Zaicow, Alexa Roemer and Piper Bacon showed improvement.
