Bulldogs Advance in Sectionals
The lady bulldogs had a great team effort last night in the first round of sectional defeating Plainfield 61-53. The bulldogs took a 31-16 lead into half time and came out strong the 3rd quarter extending the lead to 42-19. The lady Quakers made a run late in the game - hitting 50% from 3 point range in the second half. But the bulldogs weathered the storm and came home with the victory. Leading the way for the bulldogs was freshman Allison Bosse with 13 points and 10 rebounds, followed by sophomore Roni Roberts with 10 points and 7 rebounds, and sophomore Naomi Hege with 4 points and 12 rebounds. The lady bulldogs play Terre Haute North this Friday in the semifinal round of sectional at 7:30 at Mooresville.
