No. 6 Boys' Swimming & Diving picks up HCC win at Noblesville

The No. 6 Brownsburg Boys' Swimming & Diving team picked up its third HCC win of the season with a 104-81 road win over Noblseville. The boys picked up wins in eight heats on Jan. 16.

Caleb Peschke led the way for the Dogs, winning four events on the morning. Peschke started the meet as the anchor on the winning 200 Medley Relay team along with JJ Schmidt, Michael Williams and Scott Hasselbrinck. The team finished the 200 yards in 1:42.16. Peschke would go on to win the 100 Butterfly (55.49), as well as a member of both Freestyle Relay teams. The 200 Free team of Peschke, Jake Johnson, Schmidt and Austin Kehr finished in a time of 1:30.61, while the 400 Free team of Peschke, Avarey Newman, Williams and Kehr finished in 3:24.25.

Schmidt had three wins by the end of the day, taking first in the 50 Yard Freestyle (22.97) to pair with his two relay wins. Kehr also notched three wins on the meet with two relay wins and a victory in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:49.25. 

Other individual wins included Myles Grant in the event's diving competition (262.70) and Johnson in the 500 Yard Freestyle (4:57.55). 

The Dogs return to the Bulldog Aquatic Center on Jan. 19 to face Ben Daivs. The meet is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
