The No. 6 Brownsburg Boys' Swimming & Diving team won their fifth straight meet against an individual school with a narrow 97-89 victory over No. 18 Plainfield on Jan. 12.

All three relay teams took home wins over the Quakers, which proved to be the difference for Brownsburg in the meet. The 200 Medley Relay team of Caleb Peschke, Jake Johnson, Scott Hasselbrinck and Austin Kehr won with a time of 1:41.12. Hasselbrinck and Kehr returned to race in the 200 Free Relay, joined by Lee Grimes and JJ Schmidt. The team won after posting a time of 1:31.36. The final relay clinched the win for the Bulldogs as Peschke, Grimes, Schmidt and Johnson combined to finish the 400 Free in 3:20.61.

Kehr wins in the 100 Fly and the 200 IM, an event he doesn't participate in most meets, posting 52.70 and 2:00.30 times, respectively. Johnson also earned two individual wins, taking first in the 50 Free with a time of 22.86 and the 100 Breast with a time of 59.47. Peschke earned a win in the 100 Back, posting a time of 56.75.

Myles Grant continued his impressive stretch of diving performances with a winning score of 250.80.

The Dogs return to action on Saturday, Jan. 16 as they travel to Noblesville to participate in their first meet against an individual HCC school in over a month. Brownsburg edged the Millers in last week's HCC Championships.
