Football Plays at Victory Field

The Varsity Football team took on the HSE Royals Friday night at Victory Field in the second game of the Gridiron Classic.  The Royals took command early with three first quarter touchdowns and played out the rest of the game recording a 44 to 24 victory.  Isaac McCormick played well for the Bulldogs with 9 tackles, a fumble recovery and a sack while Stormm Garnett recorded an interception and also had 9 tackles.  Offensively the team gained 326 yards with Toks Akinribade rushing 19 times for 102 yards.  Hunter Johnson was 14 of 33 passing for 176 yards and 2 TD's, while Vincent Lismon collected 6 catches for 125 yards and two TD's.  Kyle Strakis also threw a TD pass to Dequincy Davis to finish the scoring.  The team will host the Avon Orioles in sectional play next Friday.
