Bulldogs Falter in 2nd Half

The Varsity Football team traveled to Avon last Friday to take on the Orioles in a nationally televised contest on ESPN U.  Both teams put on a show in the first half with the Dogs defense creating three Avon turnovers and the offense putting 21 points on the board.  Ray White caught two TD passes from Hunter Johnson who was 13 of 26 on the night.  Toks Akinribade rushed the ball 27 times for 198 yards and a touchdown.  Sophomore Nathan Walton took tackling honors for the defense with 6 solo's and 3 assisted tackles while Junior Stormm Garnett recorded 6 solo tackles as well.  Trestin Patterson, Oliver Lasu and Victor Inglima all created turnovers for the Dogs.  The team will host the Fishers Tigers this Friday night.
