Bulldogs Clip Oriole's Wings

The varsity football team went bird hunting last Friday and took their limits with a 27 to 8 victory over the Avon Orioles.  The team functioned well in all three phases of the game with a stingy defense, over 300 yards of offense and very solid special teams play.  Toks Akinribade scored on a first quarter 16 yard run, while Tyler Hudson and Chase Dutra hooked up with quarterback Ian Good for two TD passes.  Hudson from 6 yards out, while Dutra took a screen pass 81 yards to the house!  Brandon Dowers connected on a 24 yard field goal in the second quarter and a game sealer from 38 yards in the fourth quarter.  Defensively Jeremy Shupperd had the play of the night with a huge interception and return to stop an Avon drive.  The Dogs maintain first place in the HCC race with the victory and own an overall record of 5 wins to 0 losses.  The team would like to thank the incredible "CAMO" crowd!
