Bulldogs Remain Undefeated

Behind a "NEVER SAY DIE" attitude and great fan support the varsity football team traveled to Westfield and came home with a 20 to 17 victory over the Shamrocks. After spotting the host ten points and trailing for the first 46 minutes of the contest the Dogs finally took the lead and then held on for an emotional victory. Haden Shipman got the team on the board in the second quarter on a 20 yard reverse, Toks Akinribade plunged into the endzone for a fourth quarter score and Chase Dutra took an Ian Good screen pass 55 yards to the house with two minutes and 19 seconds left in the contest. Defensively the Dogs played with great emotion, including a four play goal line stand led by Colton Voyles with three tackles. Dejour Mercer, Jacob Lambet, Zach Carlson and Connor Ludwig played well from their linebacker spots stuffing the Westfield run while Cooper Wojcik, Garret Isch, Jeremy Shupperd and Chase Dutra patrolled the secondary. Needless to say.....the Dogs are bird hunting this Friday night at home versus AVON!
