Volleyball Downs Cathedral

The Volleyball Team improved to 2-0 with a 3-1 win over Cathedral. After dropping the first set the dogs were able to settle down and take the next 3, 19-25,25-23,25-19,25-22. The offense was led by Ashley Margetts with 12 kills, Skyy Smith, Jessie Keown and Sami Campbell added 9,7 and 6 respectively. Katie Hardegree had another strong match distributing 42 assist and Maddie Jones added 4 aces. A strong defense effort was put in by Rachel Funkhouser with 31 digs. Helping with the defense was Jessie Keown, Sami Campbell and Paige Thompson with 3 blocks apiece. The Volleydogs next match is Monday at home against Western Boone.
