Cross-Country Competes In Martinsville Inite

The boys' cross-country team traveled south Saturday to the Martinsville Invitational and placed 10th out of 16 teams.  Mark Bond once again led the Bulldogs with an outstanding 12th place finish out of 110 runners.  Mark traversed the 3.1 mile course in a personal record time of 16 minutes and 9 seconds, knocking a full 40 seconds off of his personal best from last year.  Hari Sathyamurthy was the second Bulldog across the line, followed very closely by Elijah Wagner.  Marcus Fierek and Seth Webster rounded out the top five varsity spots for the Purple & White.
