Tennis Competes at Z-Ville Invite

The boys' varsity tennis team played in the Zionsville Invitational Saturday.  In the opening round against #29 Zionsville, the 'Dogs lost 4-1. Greg Fulling captured the lone point with an outstanding 6-0, 6-2 victory. Number two doubles, Gunnar Reffeitt and Adam Prichard,  battled well but lost a tight match in a third set tie-break.  In the second round against #2 Carmel, the Bulldogs went down 5-0.  Fulling put up a great fight, losing (6-3, 6-4) against a top-ranked player.  In the final round of the day, #14 Floyd Central beat the 'Dogs 5-0.  Mason Lovett did a fine job keeping it close on his court. The Bulldogs will be at home Thursday, celebrating Senior Night with a 4:30 start.
