No.17 Boys Golf takes Bulldog Shootout title, Ogden wins Individual title in season opener

The seventeenth-ranked Brownsburg Boys Golf team posted a stellar showing in the Bulldog Shootout at West Chase April 9 at West Chase Golf Club. Brownsburg shot 300 as a team, a low mark for the tenure of head coach Tom Maples, and secured a team title in the opening tournament of the season. Senior Weston Ogden shot a 69 for the day to win his second straight Bulldog Shootout at West Chase Individual Title.
Brownsburg beat out two top-ten foes for the team title — No.8 Silver Creek (302) and No.6 Zionsville (308).

NOTES:
- Ogden, who egded out teammate Kevin Amalraj in a playoff for the 2021 Bulldog Shootout at West Chase title, won his second consecutive individual title by three strokes over the field.
- Amalaraj shot a 74 as Brownsburg put two Bulldogs in the top five.
- Sophomore Brayden Corbolotti finished with a 78 for the day to place in the top ten.
- Freshman Carter Hall shot an 80 to finish top-15 at West Chase.
