Boys' Golf Places 5th in own Invitational

The boys golf team hosted 15 teams on it's home course Saturday. The Bulldogs finished 5th, with a score of 323; finishing 14 shots behind team champions Hamilton Southeastern. The blustery winds, cold temperatures, and penalty strokes made it difficult for the team to maintain any momentum throughout the round. The team was led by Austin Winings who placed 3rd overall with a 3 over-par 74. Derek Hettmansperger also broke into the top ten individually finishing 8th with a seven over-par 78. Rounding out the team scores were Austin Crouch with an 85, Kasey Cross shot 86, and Alec Brown fired an 89
